The butterfly garden is a creative zoo that boasts unique wild butterflies. Our aim is to bring to your footsteps the natural wonders you wouldn’t otherwise notice amid the usual hustle and bustle of life – if you can and wish to notice them. We wish to give our guests a chance to enjoy the beauty of nature together with gorgeous butterflies.

In addition, we promote Estonian garden culture by developing new and interesting solutions, and preserve and protect the habitat of butterflies living in Estonia. We hope to give you ideas on how to create your own garden so that you could preserve a part of natural habitat also there.

In order to closely inspect butterflies living in Estonia, we have created a natural environment with nectar plants vital for their life, complete with footpaths guiding you from the beauty garden to where the butterflies live. While in many Western European countries modern land and forest cultivation practices have had an adverse effect on the natural habitats of butterflies, in Estonia it is still possible to see, inspect and protect them.
